Website Building: Buttons, Links, Footer / Header
Buttons
Let’s try out one of the buttons you may have added to your blocks. Buttons let you link to subpages, external websites, or downloads by letting visitors take specific actions. It’s a call-to-action that your visitors can click (e.g. to see your latest offer or to book one of your services). You can also link a phone number or email address so that visitors can contact you immediately.
Rename Button
By clicking once on the button you can rename the buttons as you like. Simply type in the new name.
Add link to Button
To add a link to your implemented button, click on the button then click on the chain link icon. Now select the link from the menu above the button on the far right. You can insert the desired link under URL or email, or choose one of the other options such as a link to another page, to your store, or a phone number.
Show/hide Button
To show or hide a button, click on the eye icon (show elements) in the desired block on the left and set or remove the checkmark next to Primary button / Secondary button. Both buttons work the same but have a different design.
Footer / Header
In your header, you’ll find the navigation for your newly created website, including the pages you’ve added. The footer gives your visitors easy access to your legal information and lets them get in contact with you via social media.
Social Media
Link all your social media profiles so that your visitors can access your profile or channel with a simple click. You can connect to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok, Switch, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Spotify, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, and YouTube!
Logo
Add your company logo to the top of your website. You can upload any logo as an image file from your library or use our Logo Creator to design one! To build your brand and make a name for yourself, the logo creator was made with small businesses in mind. Add your name and your field and it’ll suggest a first draft that you can then personalize. A logo will help you with brand recognition and looks that much more professional!
Text
If you have a text that you want to appear on every page, add it in the footer. It’ll show on all subpages as it’s part of the navigation.
Change design
You can change the layout of the elements in your footer and header. You can also decide on the placement of your navigation and logo.
Favicon
Utilize your own favicon if you're using one of our premium plans. This will make it easier for your visitors to distinguish your website in their browser. The favicon is the small image that appears within a browser tab and when bookmarking a website.
