How do I add buttons to my BUILDLink website?

Buttons let your visitors take specific actions on your BUILDLink website. It is a call-to-action that your visitors can click to see your latest offer or to book one of your services.

Add a button

  1. Log in to your BUILDLink account and choose the desired website
  2. Click Edit website to enter your BUILDLink website’s edit mode
  3. Click on the eye icon (show elements) next to the block you’d like to add the button to
  4. Place a checkmark next to Primary Button or Secondary Button
  5. Click on the button to edit the button text
  6. Click on the chain link icon

You’ll then have the following options:

  • Page: choose one of your own pages
  • Store: link to a product or a category from your store page
  • URL or email: link to an external website or to your email address
  • Booking service: link to the booking tool of your choice
  • Call: provide your phone number so that your visitors can call you from a mobile device
  • File: upload files that you'd like to offer your visitors as downloads

Good to know: The appearance of your buttons depends on the colors of your design and the shape you chose for your buttons.
