How do I add buttons to my BUILDLink website?
Buttons let your visitors take specific actions on your BUILDLink website. It is a call-to-action that your visitors can click to see your latest offer or to book one of your services.
Add a button
- Log in to your BUILDLink account and choose the desired website
- Click Edit website to enter your BUILDLink website’s edit mode
- Click on the eye icon (show elements) next to the block you’d like to add the button to
- Place a checkmark next to Primary Button or Secondary Button
- Click on the button to edit the button text
- Click on the chain link icon
You’ll then have the following options:
- Page: choose one of your own pages
- Store: link to a product or a category from your store page
- URL or email: link to an external website or to your email address
- Booking service: link to the booking tool of your choice
- Call: provide your phone number so that your visitors can call you from a mobile device
- File: upload files that you'd like to offer your visitors as downloads
Good to know: The appearance of your buttons depends on the colors of your design and the shape you chose for your buttons.
